Moving to Posterous
I've decided to give posterous a try and continue my blogging, or rather restart my blogging, on this site. I enjoy tinkering around with wordpress and php and mysql and so on, but these days I just don't have the time for that aspect of blogging and would rather do everything on a hosted service. If it wasn't for the fact that google adsense is still sending me money for blog.q-taro.com I would just shut it down and stop paying for it. I spent the better part of today evaluating Posterous and also upgrading my wordpress on q-taro.com to compare and see if Posterous was really what I wanted to use. Posterous won't earn me any income from blogging (believe it or not q-taro.com is still bringing in the bucks considering I haven't updated it in a year) because I don't think you can use any kind of adsense or affiliate yet. But considering my short/mid term goals it's not an area that I can properly spend time doing well anyways. Posterous is simple and I love the clean design. The admin tools are great and also the fact that I can blog from gmail is very nice. I look forward to a simple uncluttered blog experience.
