Jumbo Mazinger

Wow, this Jumbo Mazinger is friggin' awesome. Actually, it's called Jumbo Machinder Neo which is the name of the giant robot toys they used to make 37 years ago. They are reviving the line thus the "Neo." It's 600mm tall and costs 26,250yen. Spotting at Yodobashi Akiba today. I went to get a new mouse and almost bought the Mazinger. If I bought this I would put it on my dinner table so I could look at it all the time.

Goodbye Robots

Last year, I went on a declutter rampage and got rid of anything I did not need in my life. Getting an Amazon Kindle allowed me to unload over 400 books, which felt really good until I saw my credit card bill with all the kindle books I bought to replace them! ZOMG!!1 Anyways, my soft vinyl Getta Robo, Poseidon and daigokin Great Mazinger figures were very difficult to part with. I put them into their boxes, took them out, put them back several times before I finally bit the bullet and hauled them to Mandarake to sell. I only kept the Mazinger Z Daigokin which was my favorite. The last 3 photos below were my last look at them as the guy at Mandarake took them away. However, not 30 minutes later they were already priced and on the shelves to be sold.

Mint Condition Q-Taro Ride in Tokyo

If you were a reader of my old blog, you may recall back in 2006 I travelled all the way to Onomichi in Hiroshima to see a Q-Taro ride I had read about on various websites. Well, last year I was in Odaiba with some friends and to my surprise I came across a brand new one in mint condition. I could have saved a lot of time if someone had told me there was one right in Tokyo!

Odaiba Gundam Pics with Digital Harinezumi

Just testing out posterous again and trying to decide whether I want to use this service or turbo my wordpress to do everything I want it to do. The  problem with Posterous is that I can't really control the layout and also everyone's blog looks that the same. Is that someone I want? Do I care?

Anyways, posting some photos from last years Gundam in Odaiba to see how Posterous works. Get a Digital Harinezumi here

Edit: Found out that you can edit the CSS quite freely. I'll be tweaking it little by little.
